Lancement du livre L’état du Québec : sommes-nous une société émotive?
November 12, 2024 5:30 PM EST/ 2:30 PM PST
What kind of emotional climate do we live in today in Quebec? How are emotions expressed in our society? What role do they play in public decision-making, in the face of the major challenges we face?
Filled with anger, pride, guilt, empathy, nostalgia and hope, this new edition of L’état du Québec is neither a self-help book nor a health check on the state of our society. Rather, it is a collection of encounters and reflections that offer us perspectives that are sometimes critical, sometimes daring, but always enlightening on the social choices we face.
L’état du Québec is an annual publication, accessible and popularized, designed to inform and offer a fresh perspective on the debates that are driving Quebec society. It is published by Somme toute/Le Devoir and the INM, a non-profit, independent and non-partisan organization whose mission is to increase citizen participation in democratic life, in particular by contributing to the renewal of ideas and leading public debates in Quebec.
