Are full-body MRIs worth the price tag?

Are we the only ones seeing more push on social media for full body MRI scans?

Celebrities and influencers (with lots of disposable income) especially seem to be talking about them a lot. Some private clinics are advertising them. 

It might seem like a good idea at first. Why wouldn’t you want to check, just in case?

Unless you have a specific reason to get one or are considered at risk, they are not proven to help improve your health or extend your life. They can actually lead to unnecessary worry, testing and costs.
