Should you buy aluminum-free deodorant/antiperspirants? Have you ever heard that aluminum could pose a danger to your health?
Some companies have started advertising “natural” deodorants and “aluminum-free” deodorants and antiperspirants.
However, deodorants have always been free of aluminum (36,37). Antiperspirants do contain aluminum. However, there is no scientific evidence that the aluminum in antiperspirants causes cancer, Alzheimer’s disease or kidney disease (15,5,16,18,25,30).
