Shingles affect more people than you might imagine. While those who are above 50 years of age tend to be at a higher risk, it can affect anyone who has had chickenpox or was exposed to the virus in the past.
It doesn’t have to be that way though! We have vaccines that are incredibly effective in reducing the chances of that happening.
