Making your mind up can be hard, especially when you don’t have all of the facts.
Our booster menu has never been so diverse and it is normal to feel a little lost in all of it. Both Moderna and Pfizer have bivalent vaccines targeting the original strain and either the Omicron sub-variant BA.1 or BA.4/5.
But don’t worry too much, like our friend Amanda confides in her diary, all four bivalent vaccines are great and are predicted to provide better protection against the current variants than the original formula. If you got any of the original boosters you should not worry either as they too will protect you against severe outcomes and hospitalization from COVID-19.
The best booster you can get this fall is the one that is available to you.
