La pratique ancienne consistant à s’immerger dans l’eau froide remonte à au moins 3500 ans avant J.-C. et est encore encouragée aujourd’hui par des athlètes et des personnes influentes dans le domaine du bien-être (1).

Mais ces affirmations sont-elles fondées? Les bains d’eau glacée peuvent-ils réellement guérir des maladies et soulager de certaines affections?
