Today is World Mental Health Day and for people living in Canada, it is also Thanksgiving. Some of us will meet with our loved ones, while others might not be able to, and both situations can be difficult.
For World Mental Health Day, consider doing these 3 things for yourself, but also for your loved ones:
- Check-in with your own mental health – How are you feeling today?
- Practice self-care – Do something you enjoy!
- Reach out to your loved one and let them know you are here for them – Something as simple as a call or a text can go a long way.
If you are having a hard time, reach out to your friends and family.
