There’s a lot of news coming our way. News that can trigger unwanted emotions.
Here’s how you can limit your exposure while staying informed.
- Engage mindfully: Be selective about what you like, share, and comment on.
- Prioritize trustworthy content: Interact with credible sources to see more high-quality information.
- Diversify your feed: Actively seek and follow different voices and perspectives.
- Unfollow, mute, or hide content you don’t want to see.
- Tweak your settings: Limit tracking, manage ads, and clear off-platform activity.
It’s easy to find yourself doomscrolling. But focusing on all the bad news can make you feel helpless.
Don’t forget – bad news gets more clicks than good news! You might have to dig a bit deeper for good news, but it’s always there.
