Receiving mental health services can be difficult for many reasons, including financial barriers, but remember that there are many types of therapy options available.
Here we explore just some of the affordable therapy options out there, but we also provide tons of resources in our sources (link below) to help you find a therapist, numbers you can call or text, online therapy alternatives, and also free resources.
Therapy isn’t always one size fits all. For example, if cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), online therapy, group therapy, or a certain therapist doesn’t feel right it might just mean you are better suited for another therapy or therapist. Try not to be discouraged if therapy doesn’t work immediately or the first time you try it.
Share this with your friends and family to spread the word about affordable therapy alternatives.
